You may have heard that all week on PST, we've been giving away stacks and stacks of concert tickets. I'll be going to see Carrie Underwood this Friday and Chris and I have been talking about how we want to go to see Lady Gaga this summer. So all of this talk about concerts get me thinking...what's the best concert I've ever attended? And who have I not seen that I would love to?I don't know if I can choose just one "best" concert, but these would be on the list...
-Some shows are huge productions, and of those, I think Madonna and Pink may be my favorites. Lots of set changes...and lots of hit songs. Both were great!
-Other shows are all about the music and of those, I think I'd go with Green Day and U2.
And who's on my "wish list" of concerts I'd love to see? I think it would have to be Coldplay. I love their music and I've seen videos and heard recordings of some of their shows and it seems like they put on an amazing show!

I saw Coldplay last May (in Connecticut-where they had apparently played a horrible show previously when Chris Martin was sick, because he kept mentioning it and thanking the crowd for sticking with them despite the awful show they had put on) and they were really fantastic, super energetic and a lot of fun! :)
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite band, music-wise, to see in person is Death Cab for Cutie. They are as amazing on stage as they are on their albums. I also really enjoy seeing Staind live because they vary from a softer sound to a really hard sound-so you can really rock out and also mellow out :)
I don't have a favorite, because I'm not a big fan of concerts. The first one I ever attended was The Guess Who (yep, that's how old I am), and the last one I attended was Madonna (which actually was pretty good). Heck, I even saw "Jesus Christ, Superstar" on stage. Excuse me while I get my Geritol and a cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteThe best concert I've ever seen was Duran Duran when all of the original members got back together in 2005. It was amazing! I had also seen them in 1984 as well :)
